Try M-Color It gives you cymk color and bitmap capability. It assigns by layer though so you may have to change the way in which you assign your layers. It is a little tough to get used to but it is a great tool once you get aquanted with it's functions.
Here is a trick that I use. Grab one of the line that has a straight segment leading up to the intersection. Move that end of the line to an open spot in the drawing and drop it. Then reselect it and drop the end point back on the intersection. Be sure it snaps to the end of the correct...
Just an update, I talked to the AutoDesk people at the GITA Conference and they let me know that the current Land Desktop does not maintain a connection between the parcel label and the polyline. It also does not create a database that can be used externally.
