    Y Type Strainers

The site is very much against using any type of threaded connection. Full integrity on all systems is a big deal, and majority of connections are either flanged, triclamps or welded. Sorry, to clarify what I meant by expensive - in 2009 these were available locally ex-stock at £50-100. Until...

    Y Type Strainers

Thanks for your responses. I think the issue seems to be getting ones with ASA flanged connections. All the low cost alternatives appear to be with standard pipe threads. Micromold are one option I am considering, and I have been in touch with them. No special requirement, just has to be ASA150...

    Y Type Strainers

Hi All, I have a Sulphuric Acid line, terminating in ASA 150 flanges, where we need to insert a plastic (PTFE, PVDF, or Polypropylene) Y strainer in between connections. We are having difficulty sourcing a totally plastic strainer. We installed pipework in 2009 but due to site issues the...

    Hose Elastomer Choice

I suggest Teflon (PTFE) flexible hose for this. Maybe seek advice from Goodridge on Teflon fuel hoses.

    PTFE Powder Manufacturing

Yeh, sorry for not being specific, I've looked into DuPont, AG, Daikin, Dyneon and Solvay. I was kind of looking for help in case I have overlooked a different company with smaller reputation, but may be able to offer better products at cheaper prices? Google doesn't really help these matters, I...

Hi All, Can anyone recommend pure PTFE or FEP Fluoropolymer manufacturers? David

    Silicone PTFE Hose

I think a silicone PTFE lined hose would have more strength than a PTFE tube with a silicone sleeve. Preferably I would like a Silicone cover with PTFE lined. Sorry for the hastle. Thanks.

    Silicone PTFE Hose

It is for a Alcohol processing application in the UK. You suggest maybe sleeving a silicone cover on to Teflon tube? I want something with strong construction though, because it cannot have a stainless steel helix wire. Thanks for your help.

    Silicone PTFE Hose

Thank you for your help, however, the Stratus hose has a stainless steel wire which unfortunately would not comply with our application. Thanks though. D.Kaymer

    Silicone PTFE Hose

Hello All, I need a PTFE lined hose with Silicone cover. The only problem is the hose cannot have a stainless steel braid, or helix wire because of the application. Does anyone know of a hose like this? Thanks in advance D.Kaymer
