It seems to me you should concentrate on using calibration weights which are NIST traceable. Then once your system is calibrated you could say your whole system is traceable.
I think the correct solution is to derate the MWP for the elevated temperature. If it's a code vessel I think it will require a calculation for your particular vessel.
Would like to know a source for software for tank heating calc. using steam. Tank will have internal coils. Water will be heated from x temp to y temp over a certain period of time. sch 40 pipe coils. 50 psig steam.
