There are obviously numerous assumptions to consider in what it would cost to cool an office building, but is there a general calculation to determine the cost of cooling an office building from one temperature to another using the square footage?
Is there a standard for what color handrails should be on mezzanines, catwalks, and stairs? Also, is there a color standard for moving objects (orange,) machine guarding (yellow,) etc? For industrial use. For my future reference, how is it best to look up these standards?
saxon,
Thank you for the reply. I understand what you are recommending I do and why. I need to educate myself a little more with the system it appears. I may purchase that book--thanks. Fortunately, I believe I have found our problem. I decided it would be best to clean out our...
Thought I would add that the solutions entering the system (used nitric acid, 50% sodium hyroxide, and rinse water) are used to clean the oxides from aluminum products.
Please excuse me if I lack some information for Chemicals are not my profession. In our waste treatment area, we have two nuetralization tanks with, in each, one ORP controller and one PH probe. The purpose of these tanks is to prepare for removal of metals before entering city sewer. The...
Can anyone tell me if there is such a way to concurrently draw multiple (parallel) lines at the same time with different starting points? If not currently, could a way be created using VBA?
This tool could be used to transfer multiple dimensions when creating different object viewpoints.

Thanks for the response. Maybe this is just a figment of my imagination. I know you can do something similar to this in 3D by reflecting the image to create a side view, but with 2D it seems there should be some way to do this. Is there a way to use the multiline command and specify...
This is simple stuff, but since I am an intemittent user of AutoCad 2000, I forget some things at times.
If I have, for example, a set of stairs and I have already drawn the front view. How can I most efficiently transfer all of those step dimensions to create other views. Short of using a...
I am in the wire industry and hoping to get some help on determining the min/max wire size capacities on given radius and v-groove bearings. FYI, the grooved bearings are being used for wire straightening. Example: On a true cut .170" radius groove bearing, the max is respectively...
Can anyone tell me why this happens? Why does my electronic temperature device display go unstable when trying to read the temperature of nitric acid. I am using a "J" type thermocouple wire twisted at the end. I am sure there are better ways, but why does this not work? I did try...

Looks like everyone is leading you in the right direction, but I wanted to take a single shot in the dark. Are you using any type of sealant on the comm covers or anywhere exposed to the brushes? Silicone and other sealants can significantly decrease brush life. You may already know...
