A bypass uses a reduced voltage transfomer like one leg of 480 two reduced to get the motor turning then a set of timers time out and induce the voltage to 3 legs of 480 it is a hardware softstart. It is used only as a back up to the softstart. Or in most cases a VFD which is in reality a...
I understand what you mean rhatcher I have done paper machines any web app. can be very sensitive to speed reference. This is a crane application a very large crane it runs on tracks and one side is the master the other a slave. If they are not matched near perfect then the slave could be left...
If I delay the speed reference 40ms from the master to the slave what will be the result? Will the slave droop from lack of a updated speed refrenece? Will it then try to catch up or slow down will it go into current limit? Please help with this one I need a answer if anyone can help me.
THanks
I was wondering if anyone was using sola switchable 24VDC power supplies. We are currently using model SDN 10-24-100 that is switchable from 110 to 220 incoming line voltage to 10-24 VDC out put. We are using them in a RTU package and are having multible failures most do to MOSFET failures. I...
Most MCC's I have seen have internal bus and the buckets have stabs that connect to it. Every bucket I know of has it's own breaker built in. No matter if it is a motor starter or AC drive such as General Electrics MCC's
