Thank you for backing me up on this. New owners and they want to make it easier for the shop floor and add flat patterns to drawings.
My argument is that a flat pattern is not type design and only the final product should be on the drawing.

Does anyone do this? For me I think it is a manufacturing process and should not be on a type design drawing, any thoughts on this?

Welding symbols are not showing correctly. Using AWS, there is no symbol for melt-thru and the flange corner is upside down. Melt-thru is suppose to be a solid filled half moon, they only show up unfilled. Any way to correct this? using NX7.5

Make From parts retain old identifier.

When creating new parts from other parts the file name in the quick pick box still show the old part number. Any clue why? I cannot find anything in the database attributes that point to the old number.
