Thanks, I hadn't anticipated it would be such a complex feat.
I managed to get pretty close by converting the sphere to a convergent body, using NX Realize Shape to generate specific sized faces, followed by a point set using 50%U and 50%V of those faces.
Unfortunately, there are a few bad faces...
Hi all,
I'm trying to pattern a body on a spherical face with only a constant distance between the bodies as a guideline. The patterning methods I am familiar with do not allow for this result with a spherical body as base. Do you have a recommended way to achieve this?

Hey there, I'd attempted to delete the thread immediately, having found a solution right after posting. Thanks for the replies.
Regarding Cowski's question, the section is not a constant diameter, but it is a pretty small variation (< 0.3 mm).
As for Toost's, selecting the origin curve did not...
Hello everyone, I am looking for ways to optimize a design process that is becoming quite frequent as of late.
I have to bridge a connector to a pipe, but NX refuses to create a surface or body that doesn't twist.
We're currently doing this task with Bridge Curves and Through Curve Mesh, but...
Hi everyone,
We are trying to make use of the Realize Shape module that came with our bundle for our non-parametric applications (STL imports). More specifically, to get the methodology down for future projects.
The use case is pretty simple in concept: generate a Realize Shape body from a...
