    I am recently choosing a valve for steam coinjection (SAGD), I am not sure which kind of FISHER valve is good for this application. the steam line is 8", flow rate about 275000kg/h. anybody experienced on this ? thanks

    orifice is not an accurate flow meter, the edge of the orifice plate will not affect so much to the flow, the vicosity of the fluid is actually a very important factor. if this meter is not related to money, if it is just for a process control loop, you can use same equation as it should be...
