Some time ago I was working on a program to convert any version of UG/NX part file to the current NX version and update the CDF file in a part.
John Baker had zipped up what he could get and also had a Grip program to convert some very early UG version file to NX4.
Looking to get back to it...

You may be referring to the grip library programs which are not very useful with current functionality of nx.
I have written 100's of grip programs but are looking to see what others have created and get ideas for new helpful solutions.

I see in the “What's New” NX8 document that a language similar to GRIP call SNAP is available. Is there goring to be a translator available to go from GRIP to SNAP? What are the licensing requirements?
