Hi,
I'm in the UK, I should have said that, sorry.
re: the DC motor and a thyristor drive - I'm going to need to create a known load so I can chart torque speed curves and record things like starting torque.
Would this be easy to set up?

Hello people,
I need to analyse a bunch of AC induction motors from 0.25kw - 2kW.
Does anybody know if there is an off-the-shelf Generator device I can hook up to create a load and get some data under different loads?
I guess I'm after a brake/generator device of some kind.

Hi,
I've been threw in at the deep end. I have a bunch of single phase motors (1kw) to test. I'm looking at putting together a test rig to do a basic life test. Start/Stop cycles to begin with.
Can anyone suggest some good I/O board kit that I can hook up to a PC to do this? Only thing I...
Hi Proe users,
Could one of you kind souls point me in the direction of the Proe/intralink 3.x compatibility matrix ?

Thanks in advance.
Hello Peeps,
Is it possible to colour a column in a table on a drawing in 2001 ?
I could sketch a rectangle behind the column and fill/hatch it. That seems a bit 'dirty' though.

Basically it
- calls the compress command
- loads a standard config.pro file.
- runs the Intralink launch command.
If you've had this problem before it could be wise to put the command in a batch...
Got it sussed.
When filtering out paramaters from family tables.
We use R. region > Filters > edit.
then add text: &fam.inst.param.name != X
where X is the name of the parameter
to get shot of unwanted instances displayed on the drawing this is changed to:
&fam.inst.name != X
where X is...
Hi,
Thanks for the reply mate.
I am trying to add an instance to a family table that already has instances filtered out of the drawing somehow.
When I go to 'r. region > relations > show' for this table/region there are none, so it must have been done originally without using relations.
When...
