    Plate Girder

With that many holes and that hole spacing I'm willing to bet those holes are for 3/4" bolts. Anthony Deramo American Bridge Company

    Plate Girder

Those bolt holes seem awfully small. Anthony Deramo American Bridge Company

    Plate Girder

Doesn't look like a bridge girder with those stiffeners in the middle. Unless maybe they are supporting it there? I wonder what it frames into considering the flanges are clipped. Anthony Deramo American Bridge Company

    7.0 hits Haiti?

Who's going to pay for it? We are. Read some news articles, alot of major countries are shelling out the cash... after this has happened. U.S. committed 100 million and more in the future. Maybe this will prompt them to shell out cash for other countries BEFORE it happens. On another note...

    A lesson on tolerances...

If the trench is lined with steel, isn't it the trench manufacturers fault for providing an inside diameter of 2.50" instead of 2.52". Unless of course this is cast in place steel... ;-) Anthony Deramo American Bridge Company

    EGR and Smog System Removal

Well I've got an eliminator that plugs into the egr harness connection that tells the computer the egr is closed, at all times. It shouldn't mess with the computer. Anthony Deramo

    EGR and Smog System Removal

Eventually there will be a new motor, but in mean time I'm preparing the rest of the car. Two of the egr pipes run along side the passenger side header. Not so much changing plugs as doing compression tests/checking the plugs for signs of the motor not running right. Anthony Deramo

    EGR and Smog System Removal

It makes doing anything sparkplug related on the passenger side a real PITA. It can't stay around for long tube headers. I've done alot of weight reduction regarding the body, the motor however isn't getting touched as it's not worth spending time on a tired stock motor when an aftermarket...

    EGR and Smog System Removal

I should reword that, is it going to be hurting me at all? Anthony Deramo American Bridge Company

    EGR and Smog System Removal

For the sake of engine bay access, as well as minor weight reduction, I'm about to delete my smog system. This is on a Ford 5.0L. The plan is to cap off any vacuum lines, plug the hole in the back of each cylinder head, plug the tube on the H-pipe, close off the egr hole on the egr spacer in...

how to transfer to building or bridge design

Of course, why not hire someone experienced for a lesser pay job? I know people that are 35+ years old just getting into the field and unfortunately are interns. Anthony Deramo American Bridge Company

    Aftermarket Charging System

Hmm, it seems that it is unneccessary as I didn't realize until looking at the car that my starter solenoid is basically right where my battery was stock. So I just hook the HID hot wire up to the solenoid without having to modify it. Oh well, thanks alot anyway for all the help. Anthony...

    Aftermarket Charging System

Regarding the extension to the HID harness hot wire... I would only have to splice an extra one foot of wire on in order to make it reach the alternator. Since the positive cables of the battery essentially run to the starter solenoid and to the alternator... couldn't I run the HID hot wire...
