    Inertia units conversion

But I take your point... :)

    Inertia units conversion

2kg, and I interpret that as mass... If I climb up a mountain then it's weight will be different...

    Inertia units conversion

I am based in the UK and last time I checked, SI units were all metric: http://physics.nist.gov/cuu/Units/units.html Also, I have never come across Kgf or Kgfs before.. What is the 'f'? Ok, just found it on Wikipedia, but I have never come across Kilogram-Force before, and I work in a...

    Inertia units conversion

Thank you for all for your help and especially to swearingen for such a clear explanation! Kind regards, BPELEC.

    Inertia units conversion

I feel as though this may have been explained before, but my searching was not successful. My apologies if I have missed the answer... I am an electrical engineer struggling with the units of inertia. I have a specification that states that the inertial load is 0.65 lb-in-sec^2. I can't think...

    What is destructive charge voltage?

Great, thank you both for your help!

    Multi Voltage from Series Batteries

Absolutely, although if you are adding an extra battery then you may also consider running your 7.4 volt system separately using that 4th battery, and having two distinct battery systems (as you suggested originally).

    Multi Voltage from Series Batteries

    Here's a sketch of what I was suggesting... http://files.engineering.com/download.aspx?folder=882ae840-7d25-4ad4-8dc2-955146d653a0&file=circuit.jpg

    Multi Voltage from Series Batteries

You could not wire all three batteries in series and parallel at the same time, even with different loads. The necessary interconnections between the batteries would short them out I think... However, you could wire the three batteries in series and take 7.4 volts off one of them to a different...

    What is destructive charge voltage?

Just to add that "destructive charge voltage" is a translation from the original Italian, which was "Tensione di scarica distruttiva". BPELEC.

    What is destructive charge voltage?

I have a specification for a 28V DC system that includes the following: ------------------------------ Insulation Resistance: - greater than 100 Mohm with 95% rel. humidity - greater than 1000 Mohm with 50% rel. humidity Dielectric strength - greater than 450 V Destructive charge voltage -...

How to test a USB2 cable with a BERT (bit error rate tester)?

Just wanted to add that I am thinking that the BER bath-tub might be the key, but I only partially understand that at the moment...

How to test a USB2 cable with a BERT (bit error rate tester)?

We have what can be best described as a usb 2 cable of questionable quality. We want to use a bit error rate tester to decide whether or not this cable is up to the job of supporting high-speed USB 2 data (480 Mbit). I am aware there are other ways of checking the performance of the cable, but...

Finding a Manufacturer's PSPICE model for an optocoupler

Thank you for your post. The optocoupler sits in the output voltage feedback path, after the compensator. It is there to provide isolation between the output of the dc-dc converter and the control chip. Am I right in thinking that you are suggesting taking the information from the datasheet of...

Finding a Manufacturer's PSPICE model for an optocoupler

We are very close to completing an OrCAD PSPICE simulation for a two-switch forward dc-dc converter, and are only missing the optocoupler. I am now looking for a manufactuer's PSPICE model of an optocoupler with a bandwidth of at least 1 Mhz. So far I have looked through National, Texas...
