100k parts is not a problem in SE, whether using ordered or synchronous.
I was working in assemblies with more than that several years ago.
As with any system though, you do need the hardware to handle assemblies of that size, and it depends on how you sey up your system.

You can run Prop Manager without opening the draft file.
Start Solid Edge then click the application icon in the top left corner.
You can start Prop Man from there and select individual files or a whole folder.

I thought you were asking where the hole start reference was in the model.
You can place a hole on any plane, even one offset by a distance from the surface of the part.
Hole depths are then measured from the hole sketch plane.
Now I realize you are talking...
What I would do is create a copy of the section view and then RMB & "Convert to 2D view".
If you then "Draw in View" you can copy & paste from there.

#2 - do you mean you want to lock an axial constraint that is presently unlocked?
To do that, click on the part and you will see a list of constraints in the pathfinder.
Select the constraint you want to lock from the list.
You should see a small box appear on screen with a padlock in unlocked...
Just thought I'd point out that the free downloads from Microsoft for VB.net 2010 are fully functioning versions with no time limit.
They are not just demo versions.

You will need to use a Curve by Table to generate the path curve.
Can I ask why you need a curve of that shape?

If you look in the c:\Program Files\Solid Edge [Version]\Custom\Batch folder there is a VB.net project in there that you could adapt to do everything you need.
As it happens I'm doing the same thing at work, but unfortunately haven't got time to finish it at the moment - maybe in a few weeks...
1. There is a Windows setting to increase font and icon sizes - try that
2. If you can't add a concentricity (I assume you mean axial align) then you have other constraints preventing it. You will need to remove those before applying the concentricity.
3. The speed Solid Edge runs at will depend...
When you create the mirror, Solid Edge creates the mirrored versions for you.
Just wondering if the failure occurs because the mirrored version already exists, and Solid Edge can't overwrite it.

Just to add to jetto's excellent post - I would create a sketch for the slot profile and also include the pattern profile in there.

I've never found this a problem - in fact I've found having to switch to wireframe to select points/edges/faces behind shaded faces to be a real pain.
Do you use the filters for keypoint, edge, surface etc?
Solid Edge generally picks things at the 'front' by default anyway.
