Does PTC make available the change logs from one release datacode to the next? For instance, how can I find out what's changed from Wildfire 4.0 M130 to Wildfire 4.0 M160?
thanks

WF 5.0 should install natively in Windows 7. Just make sure you have the right version of ProE. I.E. if you're running a 64bit machine with a 64bit Windows 7, then you should be installing the 64bit version of ProE.
Unfortunately I can't get setup.exe to run no matter what compatibility mode I try. I failed to mention that this is a 64 bit version of Win7 Pro.
Thanks.
Has anyone had any luck installing Wildfire 2.0 and 3.0 in Windows 7? We just purchased a new Windows 7 machine and unfortunately our customers have not upgraded from Wildfire 2.0 as of yet.
Thanks
Unfortunately that page doesn't give much of a _personal_ experience from the users. Benchmarks are cool but they're still just numbers, not opinions.

We're looking at upgrading our Engineering computers to something with a little bit more umph. I've been looking at the Core i7 processors for this venture. HP told me that I'd be unwise to go with those processors because they're really for "gamers". They told me that I should go with the...
I have a user with custom paper sizes setup in autocad. The problem he is having is that sometimes when he opens a drawing his custom sizes are there but when he opens a different drawing they won't be there. I know that the plotter setups depends on the drawing in question, but my user swears...
"I still don't understand why can't they create a pdf file or a TIFF from their pro/e drawings. It's one click away..."
Corporate Politics... Harley is a very secure company. They take a lot of extra steps to make sure unnecessary technologies do not get out the door, and one of them is...
Ok, I guess the next big question would be, where do I find a person like this? We don't have anyone in shop who can do this, so we're going to need to hire someone. Only big problem is that we probably can't afford to pay them $100k a year like I am expecting.
Any ideas?

I work for a small to medium sized Manufacturing company. We do mostly workholding fixtures, build to print, and some plastic injection molds. For the longest time we have been struggling with "seat of the pants" scheduling and project management. We have tried quite a few pieces of software...
Harley has so many different types of checks and balances flying around that they probably have one guy to click File Save, one guy to enter the file name, and a last guy to click the save button. That's the problem, they have to get authorization before they can send out an unauthorized file...
Yeah, but we need this to be ongoing to support this customer in the future, so we're going to have to purchase it. Right now the solution is that the customer is sending us .dxf, but they don't like having to translate to .dxf. The customer is Harley Davidson and they are spending a lot of...
We're looking at AutoView. It's price is kind of daunting and they can't guarante that if PTC come out with a new format for their files that they'll have a translator avaliable in a timely fashion. I just can see spending $1k to $1.5k plus yearly maint on a maybe. :(
It might just come down...
Delcam's product DOES NOT open DRW, only PRT, just like all the other viewers I have looked at so far. :(
We don't care about PRT or ASM files because we can open those all day long with the MasterCAM Pro/E translator. A translator we purchased because we assumed that it would open not only...
