I am always looking for affordable aircraft design software,such as John Roncz's spreadsheet programs, but maybe a little more sophisticated. Something that will give reasonably accurate performance prediction, drag coeff. etc., but without the usual 'now make a guess at the flat plate drag area...
Does anyone know of a cheap, user friendly analysis program that will handle glass/foam sandwich strucutres?
I have the demo version of NASTRAN, which is great for truss-type structures, but won't let me create sndw. panels. Is this a limitation of the demo?
