To be considered sour, is 0.3 kPa ppH2S limit applicable to stainless steel ? I can not find any reference to 0.3 kPa in ISO 15156-3. I can find this for carbon steels in ISO 15156-2. Please advise. Thanks What is the minimum ppH2S required to apply requirements of ISO 15156-3 for 316SS.

Thanks Mr. Jones and EdStainless. Your replies are not clear to me. Please elaborate. I was looking for yes / no type reply. My pipe class shows 316L pipe used upto 250 deg C. What is the maximum temp limit of 316L per ISO 15156-3.

As per ISO 15156-3, for 316L SS pipe in sour service, is it correct that as per table A.2, the maximum temperature limit is only 149 deg C if we comply with pH2S, chloride, pH limits. Thanks in advance.
