    hi there is no such thing as ll radiation. probably u r referring to radiation caused by low level activity sources. normally in radioactive service SS304L is normally used as vessel and piping moc. ag

    we have planned to use RO for treating LLW. however it would be useful only if TDS is in ppm range. and results with 800 pmm sodium nitrate as feed gives us 90% recovery and 93% recovery. we had a polyamide membrane system with spiral configuration

    as to the first question, no we do not have experience of removing antimony. but reverse osmosis has been used for the process of removing cesium for low level waste streams. since both cesium and antimony have high atomic nos, it is possible that reverse osmosis technology may be an option...

    hi, since u work in a effluent treatment plant,the effluent stream characteristics will not be constant. since u r handling acids, organics, the best material of construction is SS316. but this is costly material. PVC pipes are inert to most fluids, but u would have to check MOC in some handbook...
