Thanks for the inputs.
The reason for not applying the flush patch is the corroded parts are located at more than half of vessel circumference. According to my calculation, 15 deg of circumferencial area will be the maximum length of cutting for window repair method. But having the heavy...
Dear all,
My vertical vessel has vertical deviation of 119mm measured from skirt-vessel joint to top head of vessel. I have no verticality data during construction for this vessel as my references, and cannot find any information in ASME code regarding the allowable verticality value for such...
Dear All,
I have a corroded skirt problem at my vertical vessel. It looks like window patching is not applicable since the corroded parts are almost along the weld joint between skirt and vessel. So, I try to install overlay patch with 60cm of wide at along circumferencial of the vessel. The...
Dear All,

Is there any term and definition of automatic, semi-automatic and manual ballast system. If so, is there any barge/pontoon equipped with...
Since I has a C.G chart for the specific 4100W series from Manitowoc, I believe the formulae will be very helpful to calculate the crane barge stability at many lifting schemes.
I am very glad if you could scan the pages and send to me via email at nasrul@badaklng.co.id
Thanks in advance.
Stephen,
Do you have any sample calculation regarding crane barge stability during lifting ? What is the limitation..? what is the acceptance criteria..?
regards
The crane barge will be used at very calm sea water in front of our Dock. It will be used for Loading arm lifting activities with maximum 100 deg lifting scheme. The offset of 1.6m is along the short axis.
My further question, is it valid if I assume that movement center gravity of crane barge...
